Dakota Spence-Zurek provides legal representation in assistance to CEGR’s Shareholders for all general and special counsel responsibilities, with a focus on employment and personnel matters. Prior to working with CEGR Law, Dakota specialized in conducting workplace investigations, where Dakota investigated complaints varying from workplace harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misappropriation of funds, misappropriation of trade secrets, etc. Dakota has experience working with special districts, particularly fire districts, prior to joining CEGR Law.
Dakota obtained his J.D. from the University of Denver-Sturm College of Law. For his extensive work in employment and labor law, Dakota was the sole recipient of the 2019 John Phillip Linn Labor Law award. Dakota received his B.A. from the University of Minnesota.
